First Capital Christian Church

The team has arrived safely and are making their journey into the Batey's.  First Capital has a big love for their Partner Pastor Francisco Feliz and his family in Batey Cuchilla.  They also faithfully support G.O. Staff members John Martinez and Brian and Josanne Johnson who are all joining them this week.  Please pray as the team continues the construction, teaches a dental class, as well as checking and giving eye glasses to those who are in need of them.

Discovery Church

Today we welcomed in Discovery Church.  They are here to uplift and love on Partner and Pastor of Hato Del Yaque Enelsido Mendez as well as Partner Porifio Montan.  We are blessed by Discover's Partnership with Nationals and community.

FCC of Fort Myers

Tonight we welcomed in FCC who arrived safely.  They made their way to the outskirts of Santiago to an area called Hato Del Yaque.  Pray for them as they serve our Lord with willing hands and feet. 

Sherwood Oaks Christian Church

We welcomed in Sherwood Oaks Christian Church tonight.  They have arrived safely and heading to the outskirts of Santiago.  Please lift up this group as they witness and love on the community of Hato Del Yaque. 

Cross Point Church

We welcomed back Cross Point Church tonight.  We are encouraged by their dedicated service and love for Pastor Moise Jean and the people in Brisa de Ocampo.  Please pray for them this week and all God has to show.

Monday: Today the team started working doing construction at the Central Church.  The sanctuary of the Central Church is going to be expanded about 12 feet and new holes needed to be dug out for new columns to be put in.  Cross Point cleared out five of the large column foundations.

Thursday: Here one of the team members is talking about life and ministry with Pastor Moise.  Partnership is the heartbeat of G.O. Ministries and Cross Point Church is an excellent example of loving Pastor Moise and his ministry in the Dominican Republic.

Thursday: Cross Point supports the church, feeding center and Pastor Moise in Brisas de Ocampo.  Today they visited the feeding center and helped the cooks hand out plates to the kids.  It was awesome to see this group of people serve kids that they have such great relationships with!

Welcome TCBIV!

The TCBIV team has arrived safely to the Dominican Republic.  We are so glad they are here!  Please pray for them as they serve along-side the Nationals this week.

 

Friday: Today was the first day of baseball clinics.  The men focused on teaching the kids offensive skills.  There were four, half-hour stations and they ended the day with a couple of testimonies from team members.

Friday: After morning clinics today, the team fed at the nutrition center in The Hole.  One of the team members partners with Pastor Felix and it was a great time of encouragement to have them there serving alongside of him.

Sunday: Every afternoon/evening, the team played in a local softball tournament.  They won their first two games tonight against the Hoya del Caimito church team and had a great time.  Here, one of the team members is sharing with the young men who played as opponents in the tournament.
