St. Luke's United Methodist Church 2012

St. Luke's arrived safely in Santiago tonight and are ready to start their week. We are so blessed to have this youth group here serving alongside our Nationals and working to start the foundations of our new medical clinic.

Wednesday - Today, St. Luke's split into three groups to do ministry in three different ways: construction, children's ministry and baseball ministry.  Here, the youth are cleaning up the foundation site of the new G.O. Medical facility that will be constructed this year.

Thursday - The baseball clinic in El Guano continued today as the group taught the boys fundamentals in cut-off plays, batting technique and pitching stances.

Friday - Today, part of the group went to visit one of G.O.'s nutrition centers located in Los Perez.  The team assisted the kitchen staff and Pastor Nico, in handing out plates of food and juice to the 80 children eating there.

Cornerstone Church 2012

Cornerstone Church arrived safely in Santiago tonight.  We are looking forward to having this faithful group and being a part of the great partnership they have with G.O. National partner, Felix Florentino.  We are so glad to have Cornerstone back and are excited about their week ahead!

Wednesday - Today, Cornerstone started their day with a great project for each of our ministry hubs.  They treated and painted new "Cornhole" game boards in preparation for hours of fun to be had by teams staying at these locations.

Beechland Baptist Church

Tonight we welcomed the first of our summer teams.  Beechland Baptist Church has arrived safely and are excited about the week ahead.  They will be great encouragement and love to their partner Generoso Feliz and his family.  Pray as they work construction to further the process of the Central church and as they teach children the love God has for them.

Wednesday - Today, Beechland began work on tying rebar columns for the new expansion of the Central Church sanctuary.

Thursday - The next step to the expansion is finishing the digging of the column holes.  Each hole is roughly 5'x5' and has to be large enough for the rebar columns as well as foundational block and concrete.

Fortville Christian Church

We welcomed in 4 men from Fortville last night.  They are here on an Exploratory trip with Director of Partnership Development Derek Gard.  They will be touring the ministry seeing past, present and future sites for G.O. Ministries.  Would you please join us in praying for them as they travel and absorb all God has to show.

St. John's United Methodist Church

We welcomed in St. John's tonight. This week the team will have an opportunity to encourage and come along side Francisco Polanco (Bienvo) and Mariluz who they partner with as well as G.O. Staff Will and Audrey Partin.  Pray for this team as they work on the area where our Medical Complex is being built and deepen relationships with those who live in the community. 

Eastview Christian Church Men's Group

The team has made it safely here. Eastview is a huge support and encouragement to Pastor Eduard Gabriel and the Central Church.  We ask that you pray as this relationship deepens and they get a glimpse of Eduard's ministry.
